Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born at 19th December, 1986. She's Canadian, but works in Hollywood. She played the role of Alexis Rose for the CBC comedy TV series Schitt's Trail, which started in 2015 and ran until the year 2020. Her performance was praised by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born on the Canadian province of Ontario. The parents of her were employed as teachers. She joined Elmwood School in Ottawa where they staged productions. The next step was to attend Concordia University and pursue a theatre performance degree. After that, she took classes in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about the art of acting. After turning 22, she relocated to Los Angeles where acting became her occupation. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 when she appeared on the television crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. She continued her acting career and also played small extra parts in a variety of movies. A few of them have been very well-received like Story of Jen released in the year 2008, Lick in 2010 as well as A Windigo Tale released the same year.
