Kirsten Vangsness is an American actress since the 1990s. Her most well-known role was that of Penelope Garcia, a police procedural on the television show Criminal Minds. Although she's primarily an actress for TV however, she also played a few small film roles since her debut in the show business in 1998. The notable roles she has played within the film industry include her roles in the movie 'In My sleep The Chicago 8' and 'Kill Me, Deadly'. She's written for the Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes on Criminal Minds. She often rescues and rehabilitates neglected and injured cats.
