Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 as well as 2016. She has been in Washington DC, she has been covering for the US House as well as the Senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and congressional events such as discussions to raise the debt ceiling for federal government and super committee discussion. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting on the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009.
