Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop style after she drew the public's attention with "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the capacity to create catchy and deeply honest songs place her at the forefront for modern mainstream music, along with arty and independent pop.
